Pragati Light

Pragati Light is over here in the Devhire Complex in Vapi. We are on the first floor at A-102. It is pretty easy to find because we are right near the Indian Bank and the Telephone Exchange Road is just there. Being at Gidc Char Rasta means there is always noise and people moving around. We have all sorts of lights hanging up and sitting on shelves. It gets a bit crowded in the shop sometimes when a lot of stock comes in at once. We spend a lot of time testing bulbs and showing people how the different fixtures look when they are actually turned on. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so carrying big boxes up can be a bit of a workout for us. We get a lot of people coming in from the nearby industries looking for replacements for their sheds or offices. It is not a quiet job. There is always someone asking about wattages or looking for a specific type of fitting we might have tucked away in the back corner. We try to keep things organized, but when it is busy, the counters get covered in wires and open boxes. We have been in this spot for a bit, so we know the local rhythms. When the bank next door gets busy, we see the crowd growing outside. We just keep our heads down and keep moving the boxes and helping whoever walks through the door.
