Orient Organics

Down in Vapi, specifically in the GIDC Phase-4 area, you’ll find us at Plot No. 5306-2. Orient Organics is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a bit of noise and a lot of trucks moving around. We work with different organic materials here. It’s a lot of mixing, testing, and making sure the batches are right. The lab isn't huge, but it has what we need to get the job done. We don’t have a fancy reception area. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see someone in an apron or a lab coat checking a drum. The weather here in Vapi can get pretty humid, which makes some of the processes a bit tricky, but we’ve learned how to handle it over the years. We started small and just kept at it. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’ve become a bit of a tight group. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the stuff we send out is exactly what the customer asked for. There’s a lot of paperwork involved with chemicals, which can be a headache, but we keep on top of it. It’s just daily life for us. We drink a lot of chai and keep the machines running. It’s not always glamorous but it keeps the lights on and the families fed.
