Meghna Colour Chem

We are based over at C-1-b, 6115 in GIDC Vapi. Being in Phase-4 means we are surrounded by all sorts of chemical and industrial units. Meghna Colour Chem has been around for some time now. Our work involves a lot of mixing and handling different materials to get the right shades and chemical properties. It’s messy work. You can usually see a bit of color on our clothes by the end of the shift. The facility isn't something out of a magazine, it's a working lab and warehouse. We have vats and scales and lots of containers stacked up. The floors are stained, which shows we actually do work here. We aren't interested in looking corporate. We’d rather spend our time making sure the batches are right. Vapi is a busy place for people in our line of work, and being in the GIDC area helps with transport. We see the same truck drivers every week. Sometimes the supply of raw materials is late, and we have to adjust our schedule. That’s just part of the business. We keep our heads down and focus on the chemicals. It's mostly about following the steps and being careful with the proportions. We don't have a big marketing department. People find us because they need what we make. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in the industrial heart of Gujarat and we like the routine.
