Mech Form

Vapi is a busy place, especially around Phase-4 of the GIDC. Our spot at Plot No. 5511-2 is right in the thick of it. Mech Form has been running here for a while now. Most days it’s just the sound of machines and people moving stuff around. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of Gujarat. We don't have a big fancy office with air conditioning everywhere. It’s mostly just the workshop floor and a small space for paperwork. People stop by, sometimes they’re looking for someone else because the plot numbers can be a bit confusing around here. We just point them the right way and get back to work. Dealing with metal and fabrication means your hands are rarely clean. There’s always some grease or dust. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high, trying to get a head start on the orders. It isn't a glamorous life, but it’s steady. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we sit outside and wait for it to come back on. That’s when you really notice how much traffic is moving through the industrial estate. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the real work happens out back with the tools and materials.
