Kishor Industries

Kishor Industries is located way down in Umbergaon at Plot No. 207/8. We are in the Valsad district, right near the Power House and not far from the ICICI Bank. Our factory has been here for years, and you can see the age in the brickwork and the floor. It’s a manufacturing spot, so it’s never particularly clean or quiet. We’ve got machines that have been around since the start, and they still work better than the new ones sometimes. We make a variety of things, and the air is always thick with the sound of metal or plastic being shaped. Most of the people working here live nearby, so it’s a very local group. We don’t have a big corporate structure. If something breaks, the owner is usually the first one out there with a wrench. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living. The power house nearby hums all day, and the trucks are always backing into the loading dock. We have a small courtyard where we keep some of the raw materials under tarps. It gets incredibly humid during the monsoon season, which makes the work harder, but we just push through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make good products and keep the machines running so everyone can go home at the end of the day.
