You can find us over at Phase 2 of the Vapi Industrial Estate. Our plot number is 136/E/2, and we are right behind Seema Kanta. If you know Vapi, you know it’s a lot of heat and a lot of trucks. That is pretty much our life at Embee Road Services. We handle moving things from one place to another. It sounds simple but it’s actually a lot of logistics and hoping the tires don't blow out on the highway. The office is right in the middle of all the noise. You can hear the machines from the other factories all day long. We have a small crew and most of us have been here since the start. We don't have fancy uniforms or a big shiny lobby. It’s mostly just clipboards and maps and checking the weather reports. Sometimes we stay up late waiting for a driver to call in and say they made it. It’s a tough business because something always goes wrong, like a road closure or an engine problem. But we have been doing this long enough that we don't panic much anymore. We just find a way around it. The industrial estate is a busy place, and we are just one small part of it. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit, but it keeps the lights on. We have learned to deal with the dust and the long hours because it is what we do.
