Chechani Charitable Foundation

Our place is at F-45 in Mani Bhadra Raw Houses, right on Swaminarayan Gurukul Road in Chala, Pardi. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it doesn’t feel like you’re walking into a cold office building when you visit Chechani Charitable Foundation. We’ve got a small setup here. Usually, there’s a couple of us handling the phones and the mail. The road outside can get a bit congested during school hours because of the Gurukul nearby, but it’s a good spot to be. We decided to set up here because it felt more personal than being in a big commercial tower. We have a lot of stuff piled up sometimes—papers, boxes of supplies, that sort of thing. It’s a working space, not a showroom. We spend the hours coordinating different bits of help for people who reach out. It’s mostly just practical work, nothing too complicated. We don’t have a big sign out front, so you have to look for the house number. The light in the front room is good in the mornings. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a project. It’s just us doing what we can from a small house in Pardi. We don't make a big fuss about things, we just show up and do the work. It takes time to get through everything but we stay at it until the day is done.
