C.B. Suratwala & Sons

C.B. Suratwala & Sons is over at 1, Hakimji Business Centre, right at the Char Rasta. Being at the crossroads means there’s always something happening outside our window. It’s a busy intersection, and the noise of the city is just part of our daily life here. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. It’s an older business center, but it’s got character. The stairs are a bit steep, but they keep us moving. Being a family-run thing, there’s always a bit of talk about who’s doing what and whose turn it is to handle the paperwork. We don't have a big flashy showroom. It’s more about the desks and the ledgers and talking to people who come in. Char Rasta is a great spot because everyone passes through eventually. Sometimes we just watch the rain hit the pavement out front during the monsoon. It’s a good place to be if you like seeing people. We have our coffee together in the morning before the rush starts. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. We aren't the type to use big words or make things complicated. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home to our families. It’s been that way for the Suratwala name for a long time, and we don't see that changing much.
