Alipore Hospital

This hospital is right on N. H. No. 8 in Alipore. It’s the main road, so we get a lot of people passing through from Chikhli and Bilimora. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but since we are right there at the Alipore post, it’s a central spot for the local villages. We’ve been operating here for years. The building isn’t brand new, but it works for what we need. Every day starts early. We have nurses coming in from all over the Taluka. Sometimes the highway travel is slow when it rains, but we usually manage to stay on schedule. We see all sorts of cases coming through the doors. It’s not a quiet place. There is always someone walking through the halls or waiting by the entrance. We try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit chaotic when several families arrive at once. The location via Bilimora makes it accessible for folks who don’t want to go all the way into the bigger cities. We have our regulars who know us by name. It’s a busy environment. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. We focus on the patients and getting the paperwork done. Life at Alipore Hospital stays pretty constant. It's just a regular part of the landscape here on the highway. We’ve seen the road change over the years, but the hospital stays pretty much the same.
