We’ve been here at the Mosque Complex on College Road for quite a while now. Most days it’s just us moving bags of cement around or checking on the bricks. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it goes with building materials. People come by number 8 looking for things to fix their houses or start new projects. We usually just stand out front and wait for the trucks to arrive. It’s a busy spot near the college, so there is always a lot of noise and people walking past. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the yard gets a bit messy when a big shipment comes in. My clothes are always covered in some kind of grey powder by the end of the day. It isn't anything fancy, just a local shop where we keep the supplies people need for their walls and floors. We know most of the guys who drive the delivery vans because they’ve been coming here for years. The rain sometimes slows us down because we have to cover everything up quickly. College Road stays pretty packed, especially in the afternoons. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the complex. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big office or anything, just the space for the materials and a desk where we handle the bills. It works for us and the people who live around here.
