Sri Lakshmi Coffee Works

Sri Lakshmi Coffee Works is located at 7, Bazaar Street, right on Walajapet Main Road. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the street. We focus on grinding and selling coffee here. It’s not a fancy cafe where you sit for hours. It’s more of a workspace. The smell of roasted beans is very strong at 7, Bazaar Street. It gets into your hair and clothes, but we’ve grown used to it. Walajapet Main Road is always full of trucks and buses. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. Sri Lakshmi Coffee Works is a family run thing. We don't have a big corporate structure. We just open the shutters in the morning and start the machines. The floor is made of old cement and has some cracks from moving heavy bags around. 7, Bazaar Street is where we spend our whole day. We don't use fancy packaging or spend money on big signs. People know where to find us on Walajapet Main Road. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait to finish the grinding. That’s just how it goes in this part of town. Sri Lakshmi Coffee Works is a practical business. We don't have any big slogans. We just work hard at 7, Bazaar Street. It’s a noisy, dusty, but honest way to spend the day. Walajapet Main Road keeps us busy enough.
