Alfa Tanning Company

Alfa Tanning Company is situated at No. 1155/A-1 on P. J. Nehru Road. This isn't a retail shop or a quiet office. It is a place where the actual work of tanning leather happens. Because of that, it can be quite messy and loud. We have big drums and tanks where the hides are processed. The smell of the tanning agents is always in the air, and the floors are usually wet. We’ve been operating from this location for quite a while now. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in our work clothes, busy with the production schedule. Tanning is a tough job and it takes a lot of patience to get the leather just right. We have a small office area where we keep track of the batches, but most of the action is out on the floor. We don't make big promises or use corporate language. We just focus on the tanning process and making sure the leather is ready for the next stage of manufacturing. The people who work here have been with us for years and they know the trade inside out. It’s a hard way to earn a living but there is something satisfying about seeing a raw hide become a piece of leather. It’s just a basic industrial business. We show up, we do the tanning, and we make sure the quality is consistent day after day.
