Gillani Skinwear Export is located at number 1148 on PJ Nehru Road. We’ve been working from this spot for a long time, focusing on exporting various types of skinwear and leather goods to our clients. The building is older, and our workspace is usually filled with the smell of leather and the constant sound of packing tape. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend most of our time inspecting the quality of the items before they get boxed up and sent off to the docks. We don't have a showroom or a fancy display area for visitors. Most of what we do is wholesale and export, so we don’t get a lot of foot traffic from the street outside. The area around PJ Nehru Road is always buzzing with people and vehicles, which makes for an interesting day, but we mostly stay inside and get through our checklists. There are just a few of us here, and we all pitch in with everything, from unloading the raw materials to loading the finished crates onto the trucks. We don't use any high-tech systems; we still write a lot of things down in old ledgers and notebooks. It might seem a bit old-fashioned to some people, but it works for us and keeps things clear. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work, make sure the quality is decent, and go home to our families. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living.
