Our place is right on the GST Road, which sounds convenient until you have to pull a truck out into that traffic near Otteri. We are located at number 4/58 A, and you can practically hear the roar of the engines all day long. Being so close to the Vandaloor Zoo means we sometimes see families walking by on the weekends, which is a nice change from the usual delivery drivers. Rci Machineries is mostly about heavy parts and metal, so there’s always a bit of grease on the floor and some noise coming from the back. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you walk in, you’re likely to find one of us under a machine or arguing with a supplier on the phone. It’s not a clean job, and the fans don't do much against the humidity in the afternoons, but we get by. We’ve had the same small crew for a few years now, so we know each other's habits pretty well, like who makes the best tea and who always leaves their tools out. We just focus on the machines that come through the door and try to keep things moving. It’s nothing more than a workshop where we put in the hours and hope the traffic isn't too bad when it's finally time to lock up and head out.
