Out here in Sri Sainath Colony, it gets pretty quiet compared to the main roads of Saroor Nagar. Our place is at H. No. 3-9-650/D, and you can usually tell which one it is by the sound of the machines running. We work with polymers, which means there’s a lot of heat and the smell of melting plastic is just part of the air we breathe every day. It isn't a huge factory or anything, just a solid operation where we try to get the orders done on time. The floor is usually covered in scraps, and we spend a good amount of time cleaning up after a run. Most of the guys here have been around for a bit, so we know how the equipment likes to act up when it gets too hot in the afternoon. We get deliveries of raw materials coming in on the narrow streets, which can be a bit of a squeeze for the trucks. Sometimes we just sit outside near the gate when we take a break to get some fresh air. It’s hard work, and your hands get dirty and stay that way until the end of the shift. We don't have a big office staff, just a couple of us handling the books and making sure the electricity bill gets paid. It’s just a regular local industry trying to keep things moving.
