Our place, Bayer Vapi Pvt. Ltd., is situated at Plot No. 306/303 in the Second Phase of the Gidc. It’s a fairly large site compared to some of the smaller workshops nearby. We are connected with the Bayer Bilakhia group, so that’s a part of our identity here in Vapi. The facility is mostly about industrial production. It’s a gated area with security and a lot of piping visible from the outside. We have a lot of people coming in for shifts at all hours. It isn't the kind of place you visit for a tour; it’s a working plant. The atmosphere is generally serious because there’s a lot to manage with the chemicals and the processes we handle. We’ve been part of this industrial landscape for many years. The weather in Vapi can get pretty humid, which makes the work on the floor a bit tough in the summer months, but we have fans and ventilation to keep things moving. We don't really do the whole corporate branding thing in our daily talk. We just call it the plant. There are administrative offices on site too, where the managers handle the logistics. Most of the day is spent checking gauges and making sure the output meets the requirements. It’s steady work. We see the same faces every morning at the gate. It's just a part of the local industrial community here. We take things as they come and try to keep everything running smoothly.
