Our factory is at No. 205 in the GIDC Industrial Estate over in Umargam. It’s a big industrial area, so there are pipes and warehouses as far as you can see. We work with plastics. It’s a lot of heat and molds and making sure the cooling lines are working like they should. The noise of the machines is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't some glossy firm with a big PR department. Most of us are just regular people who show up in the morning and head home when the shift is done. Umargam is a bit out of the way for some, but for us, it’s where the work is. The building itself is just a standard industrial unit. We’ve got some offices upstairs where the paperwork happens, but most of the action is on the ground floor. We spend a lot of time checking the bins and making sure the plastic pellets are the right grade. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s a living. Sometimes the weather gets really humid and the machines act up, but we’ve learned how to fix them. We have some tea together in the afternoons to take a break from the heat. We don't really have a big story to tell. We just make plastic parts and try to do it without too much fuss. It’s a practical business for practical people.
