People often ask how long we’ve been out here on Umbergaon Sanjan Road. It’s been quite a while now. Our place is part of the Madhuvan Complex, which most locals around here know pretty well. If you’re driving down from the main highway, you’ll see our gates eventually. It isn't a fancy high-rise, just a spread-out spot where people come to spend their weekends or host a small family function. We’ve got a few rooms and a bit of green space that takes a lot of watering during the summer months. The staff usually starts early, around six, sweeping the paths and getting things ready for whoever is staying over. Sometimes it's quiet, especially during the middle of the week when the town is just doing its own thing. On Saturdays, it picks up quite a bit. We don't have a big corporate team running things. It’s mostly just us and a few guys from the neighborhood who have worked here since the doors opened. The building itself has seen a lot of seasons. The paint peels a bit here and there, but we try to keep up with it when we can. It’s a practical kind of place. You won't find anything too over-the-top, just a solid building with enough room for people to breathe. Most of our guests come from nearby towns, just looking for a break from the usual routine at home. We just keep the lights on and the gates open.
