At Hayward Synthetics Pvt. Ltd., we spend our time at Plot No. 67, Gidc. It’s a standard industrial spot, nothing that would win any beauty prizes. We’ve got some big tanks and a lot of pipes running along the ceiling. Most days, it’s just the sound of the pumps and the guys talking over the noise. We started this place because we knew how to handle the chemical side of things. It’s not a job for everyone since it can be messy and you have to be careful with every step. I spend a lot of my time checking the gauges and making sure the temperatures are right. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet you. If the gate is open, you just walk in and find someone. We’ve had some good years and some lean years, just like anyone else in this business. The Gidc area is always dusty, so we are constantly sweeping out the workspace to keep it clean. We don't really have any big plans to expand or change things much. We just like doing what we do and keeping the customers we have. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up on my desk, but I eventually get through it when things quiet down. It’s a regular life at Plot No. 67, Gidc., focusing on the work and making sure the batches are done by the time the truck arrives. We don't use fancy talk, we just get it done.
