Sterlite Industries India Ltd.(Vedanta Group)

Right now, our team is working out of the Hotel Prince. If you happen to know Silvassa well, we are in Room 210. It is right near Kilvani Naka, which is pretty close to that Adventure showroom that most people use as a landmark. It is a bit of a temporary-feeling setup since we are in a hotel, but Sterlite Industries India Ltd. is operating from here for the time being. We are technically part of the Vedanta Group, but here on the ground, it is just us in the room with a few computers and a whole lot of files. The area around Kilvani Naka is always really busy with traffic and people moving around. It is definitely not your typical corporate office building, but it works for what we need to do right now. We spend most of the day answering calls and sorting through various schedules. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped in the room, but that is just how it is for now. Being in Dadra and Nagar Haveli has its own specific pace. We do not have a giant lobby or a receptionist, just the hotel hallway. It is simple and we just get on with the tasks at hand. People come by sometimes looking for the showroom and end up knocking on our door by mistake. It is actually a bit funny when it happens. We have got our routine down though. Work starts early and ends when the list is finally done. It is a honest way to spend the day in Silvassa while we are here.
