We are located at Survey 357/1/2 in Village Dadra, which is part of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. It is a bit of a drive out here, but being in the village gives us the space we need for the chemical work. The air is different than in the big cities, and you can see a lot of green around the industrial plots. Our building is a solid, functional structure that was built to handle the heat. We spend most of our time out on the floor or in the small office area near the front gate. It is a very hands-on environment. There is always the sound of machinery or trucks idling nearby. We don't bother much with the appearance of the office beyond keeping it clean. The chairs are mismatched and the calendars on the walls are usually a few months behind because we forget to change them. We focus on the mixing and the shipping. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so there is a lot of local talk during the lunch break under the shade of the trees outside. It’s a practical life. We deal with the monsoon rains and the summer heat as they come. It’s not a corporate headquarters with air-conditioned lobbies. It’s just a factory site in Dadra where we do the work that needs doing every single day without any drama or unnecessary meetings. It works for us.
