Shree Hari Om Tech Textile

Down here at Gala No-3 in the Shree Hari Om Industrial Complex, we keep things pretty simple. Shree Hari Om Tech Textile is tucked away in the Mihir Industrial Estate in Tukwada. It's a bit of a drive out through Desai Falia, but it's where we have the space for our machines. The air is a bit clearer out here than in the middle of the city. We spend most of the day around the looms and the fabric. It’s noisy work, and the machines need a lot of looking after to keep them running smooth. We’ve got a small crew and we all know our roles. Sometimes we have to stay late if a shipment is due, but that is just how the textile business is. The industrial estate has a lot of other small shops too, so there is always someone around if we need to borrow a tool or help with something. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork, we'd rather be on the floor seeing how the fabric is coming out. It’s honest work and we’ve been at it for some years now. Tukwada is a quiet place mostly, until the shifts start. We just focus on getting the rolls of cloth ready and making sure the stuff we make is what it should be. It's not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The floor is usually covered in lint, but that's normal here.
