Shree Gitanjali Packwell

Shree Gitanjali Packwell is set up at Plot No 4905 in the GIDC Estate right in the middle of the Plastic Zone. We have been operating from this same spot for quite some time now. Packaging is one of those things people do not think about much until they need it but we are here doing it every day. Our shed is usually filled with rolls of film and various packing materials. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months especially when the machinery is going full tilt. We are not a massive factory with thousands of workers just a decent-sized crew that knows what they are doing. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks that come through the estate. Sometimes the power goes out in the GIDC and we have to wait around which is frustrating but that is just life here. We do not have any slick presentations or anything. If a customer comes by we just show them what we have got on the shelves and talk about what they need for their products. The floor can get a bit cluttered with offcuts and scraps but we clear it out once a week. It is straightforward work. We focus on getting the rolls out the door so other businesses can pack their goods. It is a busy environment and we are usually tied up with something.
