Sand & Gravel

Our place is right on NH 8 in Reltlav. If you are looking for Sand & Gravel, we are easy to spot because we are right opposite the Patel Farm and Nursery. It is near Udvada Rs. The highway is always loud. There is a constant sound of trucks and cars passing by at all hours of the day and night. We deal with heavy stuff, so the ground here is pretty rough and uneven. It is a lot of loading and unloading. We don't have a fancy office building with a view. It is more like a small shack where we keep the papers and have a place to sit for a minute. The sun hits this spot very hard in the afternoon. We drink a lot of water and try to stay in the shade when we can. Usually, we are busy with the big piles of sand. It gets everywhere, in your shoes and in your pockets. But that is the job. We have been here at this Reltlav location for some time now. People stop by when they are passing through on the highway for their own small projects. We don't do much advertising. People just see the piles from the road and pull over. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. We try to keep things organized, but with gravel, it is always a bit messy. The nursery across the road is much nicer to look at than our dusty yard. We just keep moving the piles.
