Sabbar Lokhandwala Conservation Foundation

Our foundation is based out of Unity Park in Vapi. If you're looking for us, we're in building B-205, right near St. Francis School in Pardi. Valsad is a nice part of Gujarat to work from. We focus on conservation stuff, which means we spend a fair amount of time discussing projects and looking at how we can help out. It's not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything. It's more of a community-focused space. We have some files, a few computers, and a lot of passion for what we do. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the school nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just want to do some good work in the conservation field from our little corner here. It can be a challenge sometimes, getting people to understand the importance of what we’re trying to achieve, but we keep at it. Most of our days are spent coordinating with different groups or just managing the administrative side of things. It’s a lot of office work, honestly. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who care about the cause. We’ve been in this spot for a while and it’s become a bit of a second home to us. It’s simple, honest work that we do every day. There is always something to fix or a new plan to write up.
