We've been here at Plot No. A1/2101 A in the G.I.D.C. area of Vapi for quite some time now. Being right near the Bank of Baroda in Phase 3rd makes it easy to find us, though the industrial estate can get pretty busy during the day. Our daily work mostly revolves around fibre reinforced materials. It’s a lot of hands-on stuff. The workshop gets hot, especially in the summer months, but we just keep at it. People come to us when they need specific parts made or when they have a problem with some plastic components that need fixing or reinforcing. We aren't a big fancy operation with a glass front. It’s mostly just us in our work gear, dealing with resins and glass fibres. Sometimes the smell of the materials is strong, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle the orders as they come in, trying to stay organized even when things get messy on the floor. Most of our guys have been here for years, so they know the machines inside out. We don't spend much time on the computer unless it's for billing or looking up a part number. Usually, we're just out there making sure the molds are set right and the finished pieces look okay before they get loaded onto the trucks. Vapi is a tough place to work sometimes because of the rain and the humidity, but we’ve made a life here.
