You can find our shop at number 4 in the GIDC Gunjan area. It’s a small place, just one room really, but we make the most of it. Being in the industrial zone means there are always workers and trucks moving around outside. It gets a bit dusty and loud, but that’s just how it is here in Gunjan. We sell a bit of everything in terms of clothes. The walls are covered in racks and we have some glass cases for the smaller items. It’s just me and a helper most days. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name painted above the door. People from the nearby factories often stop by after their shifts. We keep a fan going in the corner because it gets stuffy in the afternoon. The floor is just simple stone, easy to sweep out at the end of the day. We get our stock in every few weeks and then it’s a big job to price everything and find a spot for it. Sometimes we have to stack boxes in the back corner because we run out of shelf space. It’s a local shop for local people. We know most of our regulars by name. It’s not the kind of place you’d find in a big mall, but it serves the neighborhood well enough. We keep the prices fair because we know everyone around here is working hard.
