Pooja Ayur

Pooja Ayur is based out of A-1 Adrash Row House, which is right near the college on Tithal Road. It is a residential-style building, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a standard office block. We have got a small garden area in front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. Tithal Road is a major route in Valsad, so we get a lot of people passing by on their way to the beach or the college. We deal with Ayurvedic products, mostly herbs and traditional mixtures that people use for their health. The inside of the house smells like dried leaves and spices, which is something you get used to after a few days. It is a small operation, mostly run by family and a couple of helpers from the neighborhood. We do not have a big marketing budget or a fancy showroom. Most of our business comes from people who know us or have been told about us by their friends. We spend our afternoons sorting through the latest arrivals and packing them into smaller jars or bags. The floors are a bit uneven and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it is a comfortable place to work. We like being near the college because it keeps the area lively. We just do our thing, sell our products, and try to be helpful when someone walks in with a question.
