Uqab Hoisting Marine Industries

Uqab Hoisting Marine Industries is over at Plot No. 106 in the New Gidc. We are in the 52 Expansion Area on Station Road. It’s a fairly new part of the industrial zone, but it’s filling up fast. We deal with heavy stuff, mostly related to hoisting and marine equipment. It’s a lot of chains, hooks, and big metal components. The shop is pretty large to accommodate the kind of machinery we work on. It’s a loud place most of the time because of the heavy lifting and the metal clanging. We spend a lot of time checking the gear to make sure it’s solid. The area around Station Road is always busy with trucks and people moving equipment. We don't have a polished showroom; it’s just a working industrial site. If you come by, you’ll see guys in grease-stained overalls moving parts around with the cranes. It’s a tough job but it’s interesting work if you like machinery. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we are always cleaning off the equipment. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the orders that come through. It’s a local operation and we take pride in just doing a decent day's work. It’s a simple life, focused on the heavy metal we handle every day. It works for us.
