M/S, Prakash Steelage Ltd. Umbergaon

So we are over in Umbergaon at the G.I.D.C Colony. If you know this area, we're in the Mangala Murthy Building at Plot 147/1. It is a busy industrial zone, so there is always a lot of noise from the machines and the big trucks coming in and out. We deal with steel, which isn't easy work. It gets very hot in the summer and the fans in the office don't always do much. The building itself isn't special, just a practical place for us to run the business. We have been in Gujarat for quite some time now. People around here know us as the ones who just get on with the job. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Just some old desks, stacks of files, and the constant sound of the plant nearby. Most of the staff live close by in the H/S Colony area which is quite convenient. It makes the morning commute pretty easy for everyone. We usually start quite early in the morning before the sun gets too high and makes the warehouse unbearable. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big shipment of steel that needs to go out. You eventually get used to the smell of metal and grease. It’s just part of the daily job. We don’t do much advertising because most people in the industry already know where to find us. If you are looking for the 396171 area, that is us. We just keep the wheels turning and try to make sure everything is sorted by the time we go home. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy every single day.
