Mohammed Younus & Sons

Our place at Mohammed Younus & Sons is down in the II Phase of the GIDC at Plot No. 176/3/A. It’s been a family-run thing for a long time, passed down through the generations. You can see the history in the way the walls are built and the old machinery that still sits in the corner, even if we don't use it as much as we used to. The noise is constant here since there are so many other units nearby. It’s a lot of manual labor, and our hands are usually covered in whatever we’re working on that day. My sons are often here helping out, learning the ropes just like I did. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk straight into the workshop and find us near the back. The district can be quite dusty, and we’re always sweeping the floor, but it never stays clean for long. We’ve got a small office with a heavy wooden desk where we keep all the paper bills and orders. It’s a bit of a mess in there, but we know where everything is. Lunch is usually a shared affair with everyone sitting around the same table. We don't worry much about appearances; we just focus on making sure the orders are ready on time. It’s just how we’ve always done things here, and it works for us.
