Maruti Traders

Our shop is tucked away in Shantikunj Apartment, right in the Hanuman Faliya area of Mograwadi. It’s No-2 on the ground floor. It’s a residential-style building, so it feels a bit more like a home than a big store. We’ve been here long enough that we know almost everyone who walks past the front door. We trade in various goods, the kind of things people around here need for their daily lives. The shelves are packed pretty tight, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. We don’t have a fancy display or bright lights. It’s just a regular room with our stock and a small counter where we do the math on a notepad. We’ve had the same sign outside for years and it’s faded a bit from the sun, but people still find us. The area can get a bit muddy when it rains, and we spend a lot of time mopping the floor to keep the mud off the merchandise. We aren’t a big operation with lots of staff. It’s just us here, making sure we have what people need when they stop by on their way home. Maruti Traders has stayed pretty much the same since we started. We like the pace of things in Mograwadi. It’s quiet enough but there is always a neighbor stopping by for a chat or to pick up some supplies. We don't have a website or anything, just this physical spot where we do our trading.
