Manoj Ice Factory

Our factory is tucked away in Village Atul, right near the base of Parnera Hill. If you have ever gone up to the Parnera Mataji Mandir, you have probably passed by our place without even realizing it. It is a very local area, very peaceful compared to the main town. Making ice is what we do, and out here, it feels like a very old-school kind of business. We do not have any fancy computers doing the work, it is mostly us watching the water freeze and handling the heavy blocks. The air is a bit fresher up here near the hill, which is nice when you are working hard. We get a lot of people stopping by when there is a festival at the temple because they need ice for their stalls or for keeping their drinks cold. It can get pretty hectic during those times. The rest of the year, it is just a steady rhythm of filling molds and moving them into the cold room. My hands are usually cold most of the day, but you get used to it after a week or two on the job. We have been here in Atul for a long time, and we know all the shortcuts through the village roads. It is a simple life, really. We just focus on making sure there is enough ice for everyone who needs it. It is not a big corporate factory, just a local spot doing its thing.
