Our place is at Plot No 1649/1-2 in the Gidc Estate. It’s a bit of a double plot which helps us fit everything in. We do a lot of manufacturing work here, so the place is usually full of the sound of metal hitting metal and the smell of oil. It’s not a job for someone who wants to stay clean, that’s for sure. We’ve been here for quite a few years and the building has definitely seen better days. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains really hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We don’t have a big office or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us working on a machine or moving some crates. We handle a variety of small industrial parts. Every day is a bit different depending on what people are asking for. We don’t do any big marketing or have a sales team. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. We just try to keep the machines running and the floor as clear as possible. It’s a hard-working environment and we don’t pretend it’s anything else. We take our tea breaks outside when the weather is nice just to get away from the noise for a bit. It’s just a regular shop doing its thing in the estate.
