Kasan Ji Masala

Kasan Ji Masala is located over in Mochiwad, right near the Jaihind Rice Mill. We are also quite close to the Baroda Bank in Khergam, so it’s a pretty easy area to find. Our place is usually filled with the smell of different spices being moved around or sorted. It’s a strong smell that stays on your clothes, but we don’t mind it much. We have been working out of this spot for a long time, and the building has seen better days, but it does the job just fine for what we do. We spend our hours dealing with masalas, making sure they are kept dry and handled correctly before they go out to the shops or the kitchens nearby. It isn't a high-tech operation; we use basic tools and a lot of manual work to get things ready. The street outside can get a bit crowded with carts and cycles, especially during the middle of the day. We are just a small group of people working here, and we don't really have time for anything that isn't related to the business. We don't bother with fancy packaging or big advertisements. Most people in Khergam know where we are if they need something. We just try to keep our prices fair and our products consistent. It’s a simple life, focused on the smells and textures of the spices that pass through our hands every day.
