Jyoti Fibreglass

Being located at Plot No. 4301/A in the 4th Phase of GIDC means we get a lot of dust from the road. Jyoti Fibreglass is right behind the canal, and you can usually hear the water if it’s a quiet day, which doesn't happen very often. We work with fiberglass, so everything is covered in a fine white powder most of the time. It gets into your clothes and your hair, no matter how careful you are. The workshop is big and open to let the air circulate because the resins we use have a very strong smell. It’s a tough job, especially when the Gujarat sun is beating down on the roof. We spend our time layering mats and rolling out air bubbles. It’s not a clean job, and by the end of the day, everyone is ready to go home and wash up. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we know all the other shop owners nearby. We share tools and help each other out when a truck gets stuck in the mud near the canal. There’s no big corporate office here; just a small room with a desk and a fan where we handle the bills. We just do the work as it comes in and try to stay on top of the orders without making too much of a mess of things. It keeps us occupied from morning until late at night.
