We’re based down in Valsad, over on Tithal Road. Our place is 8/B in the Prerana Society. It’s a nice part of Gujarat to be in, close to the coast. We’ve been working with colors and pigments for a long time now. It’s what we know. The office is where we handle the admin and the distribution side of things. It’s a simple setup in a residential society, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than an industrial park. We spend our days looking at color charts and talking to people about what kind of dyes they need for their products. There’s a lot of technical stuff involved, but we try to keep it simple when we talk to our regulars. The team here has been together for a while, so we all know how things run. Sometimes the weather gets really humid being this close to the sea, but we’re used to it. We just get on with the orders and make sure the shipments go out on time. It’s a quiet kind of business, not a lot of shouting or flashy stuff. We just like doing a good job and staying settled here in Valsad. Tithal Road is a familiar place for us, and we’ve built some good relationships with the people around here over the years. Sometimes we have a coffee and watch the rain during the monsoon. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to get things right. It is a steady way to live.
