H. K Industries

H. K Industries operates out of Plot No 4307 in the Plastic Zone. As you can probably guess from the location, we spend all our time working with plastics. The zone is pretty specific, so everyone around here is doing something similar, which makes for a unique atmosphere. Our unit is a bit cramped sometimes because we have a lot of raw materials stacked up. The machines for molding or whatever we are doing that week can be quite loud. It gets hot inside, especially during the summer months, but that is just part of the job in this industry. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing. Most of the time, the owner is right there on the floor with the rest of us, making sure the plastic is feeding into the machines correctly. Plot 4307 is our home base, and it’s where all the actual labor happens. We’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times and the floor has some cracks, but it works for what we need. We don’t have a fancy lobby or any of that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of dust or moving crates around. It’s a straightforward business. We take the orders, run the machines, and try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of physical work, but we are used to the pace of the Plastic Zone by now and just keep going.
