Chandra Mfg. Co. operates out of Plot No. 612 in the Gidc area. It’s a decent-sized plot, enough for what we do. We’ve been part of this industrial community for a while now. The building is older, with some patches on the walls and a heavy iron gate that squeaks a bit when you open it in the morning. We do various manufacturing tasks here. It’s the kind of place where everyone has a specific job, whether it’s running a lathe or checking the final pieces before they get packed up. We don't put on any airs about being a big corporate entity. We're just a manufacturing company with a small crew of dedicated workers. The coffee in the breakroom isn't great, but it gets the job done during the long shifts. We spend a lot of time just maintaining the equipment. If something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. The Gidc can be a bit chaotic with all the trucks and the narrow roads, but we’ve learned how to navigate it. Our neighbors are mostly other small factories, so there's a lot of noise throughout the day. We keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s honest work, and we take some pride in seeing the finished products leave the plot. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or water issues that slow things down, but that is just the reality of working in this part of town. We just provide what our customers need.
