Y B Halani is located at Plot No. 6200-5 in Phase-4. This part of the Gidc is usually crowded with workers around shift change times. Our spot is right in the middle of all that activity. It's a standard industrial setup, nothing you’d see in a magazine. We spend most of our hours here dealing with the day's tasks. The sun hits the roof pretty hard in the summer, making the shed warm, but that’s just life in this area. We’ve got our tools and our desks set up in a way that makes sense for us. People often ask for directions because the plot numbers can get a bit confusing if you aren't familiar with Phase-4. We tell them to look for the nearby landmarks. It’s a practical place to be. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the outside looks. As long as the work gets finished and the floor stays somewhat clear, we’re okay. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other’s habits. We talk about local news or what’s going on in the city while we work. It’s a regular job for regular people. There’s a tea vendor who comes around, and that’s usually the highlight of the mid-morning. We just keep our heads down and stay busy at Plot 6200-5. It’s been our home base for a long time now. We've seen a lot of businesses come and go in Phase-4, but we're still here doing our thing.
