Vico Forge Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. 748/2 749 in the 40 Shed Area of GIDC, Vapi. Vapi is a really busy industrial town in Gujarat, and our spot in the 40 Shed Area is usually pretty loud. Forging is heavy work, involving a lot of heat and big hammers. When the machines are running, you can feel the floor vibrate under your feet. We have two plots here to fit all the heavy equipment and the raw metal we use. It’s a hot environment, especially during the summer months in Gujarat, so we take plenty of breaks for water and tea. Our workers are local people who have been doing this kind of work for a long time. We don’t have a website that looks professional or a big marketing team. We just take orders for forged parts and get them done as best as we can. The shed area is full of other businesses, so there is always a lot of movement and noise in the street. We keep the metal scrap in one corner and the finished parts in another until they are picked up. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow roads around the plots, but we manage. We’ve been at this address in Vapi for quite a while now. It’s a tough job, but it’s honest work that needs doing for the industries we serve. We just keep the hammers moving.
