Vamech Seals / Vamech Pumps

Vamech Seals and Vamech Pumps are based at Plot No. 750-B. We are right in the middle of the 40 Shed Area. It’s a name that makes sense once you see how the plots are laid out. Our workshop is full of metal lathes and testing benches. We deal with seals and pumps of all sizes. Some are small enough to hold in your hand, others need a lift. The smell of machine oil is everywhere. It’s a smell you never really get out of your skin. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most people find us because they know someone who’s been here before. The 40 Shed Area is a tight-knit place. Everyone knows everyone else’s business. We share a wall with the shop next door. You can hear their radio playing through the bricks. We don't mind. It’s just how it is. We spend our days fitting gaskets and checking for leaks. It’s precise work but done in a very dusty environment. We keep our tools on big pegboards. Some of them are older than the guys using them. We don't have any missions or visions written on the wall. We just have a calendar and a clock. When a pump comes in broken, we take it apart and see what’s wrong. It’s as simple as that. No need to make it sound like more than it is.
