Tuff-rock Industries

Our building is tucked away at Plot No. 131/1/11 in Vapi. If you know the Gidc area, we are just behind the Adarsh Shopping Centre. It is a busy spot on Silvassa Road, especially with the Bharat Weigh Bridge right across from us. You can hear the heavy trucks rumbling past all day long as they wait to get weighed. We have been working out of this space for a while now. The walls have some stains from the monsoon rain, and the yard is usually dusty because of the industrial traffic. Most mornings start with the sound of the metal shutters rolling up and the smell of tea from the local stall nearby. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room. It is mostly just a practical workspace where we get things done. The staff knows the shortcuts through the side lanes to avoid the main road traffic during lunch hour. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the heat and the noise of the machines. It is not a glamorous place, but it works for us. There is always someone coming in or out with a delivery. We keep a few old plastic chairs in the front for visitors or when we need a quick break. The fans hum constantly to keep the air moving. It is just a regular shop floor where people show up, do their jobs, and head home when the sun goes down.
