Tanu Motors

Tanu Motors is situated right at the Gidc Cross Roads near Nh-8, which is a very busy spot to be. We have the shop at Plot No. C-6-1, and since we are so close to the highway, we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. The sound of trucks and cars on Nh-8 is constant, and it can get pretty loud when the big rigs blow their horns. Our garage floor is usually covered in some amount of oil and grease, which is just how it goes when you are working on engines all day. We have a few lifts and a lot of tool chests scattered around the workspace. The mechanics are usually under a car or leaning over an open hood from morning until the evening. It’s a messy job, but we like fixing things and seeing the vehicles get back on the road. Being at the crossroads means people often stop by if they have a sudden problem with their car while traveling. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a television; it’s mostly just a couple of chairs and a desk where we handle the bills. We've been at this Gidc location for a good bit now, and we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a tough, honest way to spend the day, and by the time we close up, everyone is usually ready for a good wash and some rest.
