Step Electricals

Step Electricals is up on the first floor of Aamir Complex, which is at 103 on Silvassa Road. We’re right near the D.C. Bank, so it’s a landmark most people know around here. The GIDC Commercial Zone is always buzzing with people and vehicles. Being on the first floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, which is nice when things are slow. Inside the shop, it’s mostly rows of electrical parts, wires, and boxes stacked up to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a maze sometimes. We try to keep it sorted, but when things get busy, it’s hard to stay on top of it. We aren't a big chain store with bright lights and matching uniforms. It’s just us in our regular clothes, helping people find the right fuse or cable. Sometimes the elevator in the complex acts up, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. The walls are covered with old calendars and a few notes scribbled here and there. It’s a comfortable place for us. We’ve been on Silvassa Road for quite a stretch now. People know they can just come up to the first floor and find us working. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just sell electrical stuff and try to be helpful when someone has a question about a project they are working on. It’s a pretty simple way to spend the day.
