Source 1 Instruments

Source 1 Instruments is located at Plot No. 2705-11, specifically in Indi House within Phase-3. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but it is a good spot for what we do. We deal with various instruments and measuring tools, so it is a bit cleaner than your average machine shop. We have long tables set up with bright lights so we can see the small parts we are working with. The floors are swept every evening, but by noon the next day, there are always bits of wire and packaging material everywhere again. We have a small kitchen area where someone is usually boiling water for tea. The atmosphere is fairly quiet, except for the occasional sound of a testing machine or someone calling out from the back of the warehouse. We use a lot of bubble wrap and boxes, so there is always a pile of cardboard near the back door. Our building, Indi House, has been here for a long time and has its own little quirks, like the door that sticks when it is humid. We do not have a big marketing department or anything. It is just a handful of us making sure the instruments are ready to go. We keep a logbook on the main desk to track everything, though half the time the pens go missing. It is a steady, honest day’s work for all of us here in Phase-3.
