Sohag Metal Pressing Works Pvt. Ltd.

We’ve been here at Plot No. 9 in GIDC for a good while now. It’s right across from the Round Canteen, which makes it easy for folks to find us when they need something done. The workshop gets pretty loud with the pressing machines running, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We mostly focus on metal pressing and getting orders out to the people who need them. It’s not always pretty inside, there is usually some scrap metal lying around or oil on the floors by the end of the shift. We started out small and just kept at it over the years. Some days are busier than others. When the power goes out, we just wait it out and start back up. It is mostly a group of us who have been doing this for a long time. We know the machines well. People stop by for different parts, and we try to get things sorted as fast as we can. It’s a simple setup really. No fancy offices or anything like that. Just the machines and the workspace. Being in the GIDC area helps since most of our neighbors are doing similar industrial stuff. Sometimes we grab tea at the canteen and talk shop with the other guys from around the block. That’s pretty much the daily life here at Sohag Metal Pressing Works Pvt. Ltd. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
