Snehal Texmech

Snehal Texmech is located in Phase-4 of the GIDC in Vapi. We are at Ppot No. 3010-11. It’s a typical industrial plot, nothing too flashy. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The neighbors are mostly other workshops and small factories, so there’s always a bit of noise from the machines and the loading of goods. We don’t have a big fancy office entrance. Usually, you just walk in and you’re right where the action is. Vapi is a busy place, especially in the GIDC sections. We deal with the heat and the dust just like everyone else around here. Our work is pretty straightforward. We don’t spend time writing mission statements or having long meetings about goals. We just look at what needs to be made or repaired that day and we get to it. Sometimes the power goes out or a delivery is late, and we just have to deal with it. That’s the reality of running a shop in an industrial estate. The people who work here have been doing this for years. We know the machines and we know how to handle the tools. It’s a practical environment. We don’t use much English that’s too complicated because there’s no need for it. We just say what needs saying and keep the work moving along as best we can. It’s not about being the biggest, just about doing what we do well enough. We like the routine of the shop floor and the way the day goes by.
