We’ve been based out of Unit 12 in R. K. Industrial Estate for a good number of years now. Finding us is pretty straightforward if you know where Jyoti Fibre Glass is. We are right near them in Phase-4. This part of the city is always buzzing with the sound of machines and trucks moving in and out of the survey plots. Inside our shed, we focus on the tooling side of things, specifically for composites. It’s a lot of manual work and checking measurements over and over. The air is often thick with the smell of resins and the sound of grinding, but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We aren't a big corporation with people in suits. Most of us wear work clothes that usually have a few stains on them. We start early when the air is still a bit cool because the afternoon heat in the estate can get quite intense. Lunch is usually a quick affair, sometimes brought from home or ordered from the small canteen down the road. We deal with various workshops nearby that need specific tool setups for their manufacturing. It’s honest work that keeps us on our feet all day. We make sure the machines are oiled and the floors are swept at the end of every shift. That’s our routine here in Survey No. 384-1.
