About Shree Tarpaulin Industries – Automobile in Valsad
You can find our place right at Plot No. C-1-6, just opposite the Gidc Police Station. Having the station right there makes it easy to give directions to people who haven't visited us before. We work with tarpaulins, so there is always a lot of heavy fabric being dragged across the floor. It’s a big, open space because you need room to spread those sheets out. The sewing machines are heavy-duty and they make a rhythmic thumping sound that you stop hearing after the first hour. It’s dusty work and tough on the hands, especially when we are fitting the eyelets or folding up the larger covers. We have piles of material in different colors stacked up against the walls. It isn't the cleanest environment, but that's how it is when you’re dealing with industrial fabrics all day. We mostly just focus on getting the sizes right. Sometimes the measurements are tricky, but we manage. Lunch is usually eaten quick so we can get back to it. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room, just the shop floor and a small desk for the paperwork. If you walk in, you'll probably see someone crouching over a big blue sheet with a pair of shears. That's just a normal day for us. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now and we know the routine.
